황제내경 경맥편 오장맥사후(五臟脈死候)의 형성 과정에 관한 고찰

A study on the formation process of terminal stage symptoms of five viscera meridians in Huangdineijing Lingshu Jingmai (黃帝內經･靈樞･經脈)

Abstract
Objectives
The Jingmai (經脈) chapter of Huangdinejing Lingshu (黃帝內經‧靈樞) describes the symptoms of death in five types of body compositions associated with the meridians of the Five Viscera. Thanks to several recent excavations, we now know how the content of this paragraph was formed. In this paper, I describe its formation procedure sequentially.
Methods
By comparing 3 excavated articles and 3 major classics wrtten in Eastern Han (後漢) to Jin (晋) era, formation procedure of above smptoms were analysed.
Result and conclusions
It is showed that before Huandineijing, the descriptions of these symptoms were not static and varied somewhat. With the addition of prognosis, connection to meridians, and the addition of the Viscera theory, the knowledge surrounding this symptoms was becoming complete.
