A Clinical Diagnostic Study focusing on 「Donguibogam」 through Successful Cases of Infertility Support Projects

Abstract
Objectives
The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate the contents of successful pregnancy cases (2 cases for women and 2 cases for couples) and to consider clinical diagnostics based on Donguibogam, which researchers participated in the ‘Korean medicine infertility support project’ under the agreement of Gwang◌ City and Gwang◌ Korean Medical Association.
Methods
We conducted a case study on successful pregnancy cases (2 cases for women and 2 cases for couples) among the Korean medicine infertility support projects conducted in Gwang◌ City, and analyzed and considered clinically based on Donguibogam
Result
At the first visit, it was suggested that the necessity of recognition for a healthy pregnancy and the plan for marital life should be explained and that it is necessary to actively participate.
For women, diagnosis and treatment of menstruation and Leucorrhea are prioritized, and this treatment is to restore the implantation function of the endometrium, and it was suggested that digestive and neuropsychiatric control is important for healthy ovulation.
For men, it was suggested that the improvement of life, including a healthy and appropriate sex life, should be prioritized, and diagnosis and treatment should be performed to make the condition of “Essence, Qi energy, Emotion & Blood” healthy.
Conclusion
From the above results, the approach of infertility in the field of Korean medicine is considered to be significant. As previously suggested in Donguibogam, it is necessary to inform that the approach to Korean medical infertility has the advantage of being helpful in terms of the subject's mental and physical aspects, so it is necessary to actively carry out the Korean medical infertility project in terms of health.
